I hate this part right here

I always seem to come short whenever it comes to making a intro.

So Ello! Hola! I l guess I should be welcoming myself to the blog-o-sphere. I have had several blogs before on completely random subjects but it seems that this is my first time actually creating one that pertain to my favorite hobby and addiction; drugs. No, i'm kidding! I meant BOOKS!

Like every other book lover out there, my passion for books started at a young age and mines specifically began in third grade when I got my grubby little hands on the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling and the Series of Unfortunate events by Lemony Snicket (Haven't read it? READ IT!)

I loved Count Olaf. The movie served no justice
to the real cold hearted uncle.

Plus this Count Olaf seems more like a pedo.

I mainly read YA books but I also read others as well.  I love all kinds of Genres but my most favorite are; Horror, Drama, Mystery, Action, Adventure, Romance, Fantasy, Sci-fi, etc. I guess pretty much all genres.
A little about me-
I live in ny and am currently a high school student -Oh- Let me get this out of the way.
-I hate ny.
-Hate it
-hate hate hate
-rawr rawr
-blargh.
I mean, shiny lights, broadway, times square, central park and the best shopping district in the world? Give me a break. More like crimes on every block and let's not forget the pollution and crazy streets. Crazy dirty stinky subways and the hype about ny, revolves around manhattan. Everything else is a dump. Once that girl who thought ny would be lalala and now it's gagagagag
Now that my opinion is out of the way, this blog serves only to share, review and learn about the many books out there that I haven't read and will come to read. Hopefully it can help someone else as well and who knows? Perhaps you might find something useful here.

So for now, i'll review some of my favorite book series that I have read since I don't exactly have the money to buy tons of books every month. Yes, that's what being poor does to you.
But that doesn't bring me down!
Thats it for now.

Even though I don't, as a rule, particularly like YA type books, there are the occasional exception, which include the Harry Potter series. However, I do remember devouring the Frank Baum books when I was younger (The Wizard of Oz was my least favorite from the series), and the C.S. Lewis series, now being, belatedly, turned into cinema.
In any event, there are lots of YA bloggers out there, and they will, I am sure, be eager to visit your blog.
I am also a writer, finishing my novel, which is on my blog, a week at a time. It is a medical fantasy novel, unlike anything out there that I have run across. You are more than welcome to visit my blog.
Best of luck to you.

Lmfao, I love you. Already. If your replies to my comments weren't enough to solidify my love for you, then your intro post was.

I've read about half of the Series of Unfortunate Events. I never seem to ever be able to get past the 5th or 6th book. Maybe I should challenge myself to finish it... I really should.
(I lol'ed so hard at your Count Olaf = pedo comment :P)

So, hrm. I've never been to NY, but books like Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and Dash and Lily's Book of Dares, and shows like How I Met Your Mother, really make me want to visit. I don't think I'm a city-type of girl, but it'd be fun to experience at least once in my lifetime!

Alright so since you shared that you're in high school (I don't envy you), I'll share that I'm in college and I'm piss poor and honestly have about 27 cents to my name. I try to find ways to get my hands on books. The first being libraries. It's NY. You're bound to have some libraries there, yes? It's a very cheap alternative to buying books. Or if you don't mind hanging out in a bookstore all day, you can read them in there! You already know about the e-galley programs and probably all the book giveaways, so... there's that. But yeah, there are a lot of mediums for us poor people to get our hands on books. :D

Anywhoo, I've already welcomed you to the book blogging community (which consists are really awesome people, like myself.. lol, jk about that last part). If you ever have any questions about anything, please feel free to email me! :D I know I had a lot of questions I wasn't able to ask anyone when I started out. :P
