This is my first time participating in one of these and I have to admit I had to read the post two times over to learn how to do it. Don't bash me! D:
This week's question comes from Christina who blogs at the Paperback Princesses
Q-"If you find a book that looks interesting but is part of a series, do you always start with the first title?"
A- Well of course! I'd be completely lost without reading them in order. But I have to admit, I have skipped books before. I remember doing it in third grade when I was first introduced to Harry Potter, I think it was 'Harry Potter and the prisoner of Askaban'. In the end I did have to go back reading the previous books and ended up loving the series. I have also done this with the Cirque du freak series. Either way, I ended up a bit lost but nothing big I had to worry about,
Now, if you haven't heard of the Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan, then WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WITH YOURSELF?!
It was a REALLY good book. At first when seeing the book I thought to myself of how childish the cover seemed. But I really got into it and am still following the series right now. Here's a preview for the book on google books. If your a fan of vampire and harry potter then I recommend checking this series. And no, it isn't like twilight. Don't insult the book!
